To run a successful Media Marketing Campaign there are certain goals you have to achieve. These goals are the following:
1) Identify Social Media Marketing Goals
2) Craft Marketing Strategy
3) Create Accurate Content
Identify Social Media Marketing Goals
- What are your goals for using Social Media? (ex: Increase Fan Count, Drive Traffic, Develop Voice, Interact with Potential Consumers, Promote Sales, E-Commerce, etc)
- What are your current marketing initiatives?
- What are your current web assets (ex: website, e-commerce site, blog, social profiles)
Craft Marketing Strategy
Based on the identified goals, a Social Media Marketing Strategy will be developed to define a consistent message and identify appropriate mediums for Social Media Marketing.
Create Accurate Content
Social Media Marketing needs to focus on providing value to the user. To achieve this environment, the Social Media Marketing campaign must create and distribute content that first services the users.
Types of content:
1) Relevant Articles, Links, Blogs involving the client's space.
2) Relevant Videos, Images, Audio, Multimedia involving the client's space.
3) Marketing Messages & Call to Actions - promotions, sales, offerings, etc. that drive traffic.
By creating and sharing valuable content (numbers 1 and 2) for your users, they will, in turn, become valuable to your brand. By consistently providing informative and interesting content, users will learn to trust you and your brand as the authority on the space, thus making it easy for users to fulfill your Call to Actions (number 3).
